We're in Britain. It could and in all possibility will change by this afternoon.

Bring umbrellas...

That'll keep the rain away..

A most eXcellent X Rally this year and a big well done to the organisers who stepped and rescued the rally from potential oblivion this year =D>

Thoroughly enjoyed. It was wonderful to see friends old and new and look at some lovely cars...

And the rain threatened but had the decency to hold right off. I even caught a bit of sun!

I went in the Activa and I must say she purred all the way there and all the way back..

Roll on the next rally :)

Thanks for turning up everyone and contributing to making this a really successful event. Mark and I were rather relieved that it wasn't just us in an empty field :) As the first event of the rally season, it would have been a real shame if we couldn't have kept the X-rally going - thanks again chaps.

I was so very sorry not the make the event as we broke down in the 24v about one hour from home with a snapped hydraulic belt!! It could have been a lot worse as the whole family were in tow! Apart from being fairly close to home we were really lucky to have a lay by and pretty village green on hand, plus my Dad is close and he brought a new belt and tools to get us home. We were so looking forward to the day, both to meeting up with many friends and the cars and house to visit. It was good to see a few photos but how many XM were present and did any other S1 V6 attend? I will now make an even bigger effort to visit the Northern next month!! With regards, Matthew T.

OH NO Matthew, what a shame. I did notice you hadn't made it. you missed a good rally. By the way look out for my PM.

Funnily enough I had just last week got a new pump belt and alternator belt fitted. On Saturday, Jaap and I were tightening the pump belt up to shut the squealing up! nice and quiet now..
