The Missing XM

Went to the Retromobile show in Paris last w/end which was its usual vast collection of classic (and not-so-classic machinery), but what both surprised and disappointed me was the almost total absence of anything XM. A sole white estate was the only example on display and the huge Citroen stand had absolutely no material relating to our beloved model. Although they were selling scale models of 2CVs, Xantias, C5s and CXs, they didn't have one of the XM and looked at me strangely when I asked. It was almost as if they were trying to forget about the car, an suspicion confirmed when I discovered not one of the dozen or more stands specifically selling scale models had one of the XM !
