Well I cleaned up mine today...see blog for evidence! So I am planning on going. I think quite a few are. The weather has managed to change it's mind, so it should be fine.

You havent seen my 24v xm then.. only polished the dash and hoovered the front.. no outside wash no wax or anything..

Its not all about how tidy is your car.. its about what car you have and you still have one!


Ill be there in the 24v.. the 24v hasnt been to x rally before. Its been the xantia all the time.. so first time.. lets hope we get there..

Mine is a dirty dog!!! White car, rain, country roads. Now officially given up all hope. Just aiming to get there leaving a trail of LHM from Wiltshire to Linconshire!!!

We're due for really heavy rain here tomorrow (Sun 26, and my birthday!), so that SHOULD mean UK weather will be pretty good.
Well, that's how it usually works.

I might pole along to this...
My cars are ready and waiting..Mandarin if dry, Cobalt if wet. Both have been fully prepped with a large dose of "nothing at all done"...

My weather station predicts cloud for the next 24 Hrs, so all should be Ok at Burghley.

Please let us see some photos of happy XMers at play, for those of us who couldn't make it. We need motivational support.

If you've still left it last minute to give the XM a clean I've just had mine done at a hand car wash in nearby Uppingham, Ash Close, LE15 9PJ. Gave it the works £25.
