We also really enjoyed the day with some cracking weather and cracking cars!! It would have been nice to have had more time to chat and scrutinize, but I manage to catch up with a few of the regulars and met some new faces too. It was particularly good to see Paul S. who seems to be looking after my old Prestige and I love the photo of our two V6. I managed to forget to take any photos, apart from a quickie on the way out, plus some at a garage stop in Norfolk!! Regards, Matthew T. PS. Well done also to Will for getting best XM.

I didn't leave it to the last minute, I just left it...

What's a wash?

I was truly flbbergasted, the competition was fierce and actually cleaned...

The day started on the way to Burghley with seeing a BMW Cabriolet with the bonnet folded neatly over the winsdcreen frame. Moral...Don't forget to slam the bonnet after washing, polishing the car and checking the levels, before going for a drive.

Next up, while gently (LOL) driving some country lanes, I rounded a blind bend and saw a large pond off to the side off the road. Nothing too unusual about that, except this one had a VW Polo in it...

A few miles later I came across.Image

A large cycle race taking place and the main road closed.

At this stage I was wondering if I would ever make it to Burghley.

But I did.

Matthew went fully tooled up..

Of course a little bad behaviour is allowed.

I didn't get a lot of photos in the five hours I was there but that was maybe because I spent a fair bit of time up at the MG event
