It was a great meet on a few different levels....

1, For the number of xm's that attended...I feel xm owners should really make the effort to attend in such numbers at other CCC events...fly the flag for the model so to speak.

2, The cake and gathering for me was the crowning touch. A thoughful addition to the meet, and in our small way a nod of gratitude for its design and creation, and the camaraderie of their owners - Many thanks to Matthew for thinking of this and making it happen 8-)

3, Great to meet up with old friends, meet some newer faces

4, I got to finally drive an xm for the first time any distance longer than the length of my street at home :P

K BAN was safely delivered back to its temporary residence in Manchester....it ran home without a hitch, suffered some heavy motorway congestion and performed the journey effortlessly....and made it all the way back with fuel to spare....we set off with the needle on the first marker

Cant wait until next year for the meets to start again, but im sure me and my xm will get around a bit before then....

By the way Paul....as usual i think you are right about the display....i looked at the one in KBAN and its just like mine im sure..which is the same as the one i bought from you today ;)

It was a great do, really enjoyed it. It gained a decent interest from the visitors to the museum which is always good for promotion. I though the Cold War museum behind was fantastic, well worth a day out if you're into history, only need to pay 2.50 or 3.50 for car parking and everything else is free.
