Further to Matthew's list:

1) I emailed the Head of Cars/Motoring section at the Daily Torygraph earlier in the week but received no reply and nothing in yesterday's rag.
2) I spoke to Wolsey House Motors, but the main guy is away for his 50th birthday next weekend.
3) I also spoke to Malcolm at Savoy Garage (Burnley, not Blackpool ...) http://www.citroen-mechanics.co.uk/ and he is going to try to be there on Saturday.

Many thanks for those updates that are most encouraging and in the meantime I have sent a circular email invitation with a copy of the flyer by Russ to nearly forty individuals and companies. I copied in all those mentioned above, plus many others including the ten nearest main dealers and about half a dozen classic car magazines, so it will be interesting to see who turns up! I've got a few bits and pieces to sell (mostly Citroen bits) - is that OK as a kind of car boot?

If anyone has a headlamp washer cover (passenger side) then I'm in the market!

Ha, this is an XM rally, we can only afford a couple hundered quid... thats why we buy XMs... :lol: :lol:
