This sounds so nostalgic reminding me of a round trip Arnhem to Paris in an Ami 6 break in 1970, fully loaded with 4 adults plus luggage and the accelerator pedal floored all the way. That car could stand a lot of abuse. My brother, the owner, did not seem to care. He had another one, a saloon for parts.
Unfortunately I am too far away to go to the rally
