I can see the attraction of wheel trims, but feel the car needs no sunroof to give the long, uncluttered roof line. The car then appears space age.

Now that looks great. And for some reason, probably because they are quite a minimal design, they suit the car with no spoiler. A non turbo 2.1!

I realise the reasons I prefer the ps wheel trims, apart from them appearing on early and prototype cars, is the greater simplicity and that they match the earlier alloys in concealing the wheel nuts. I really do not like the rather clunky 'false' nut covers on the 'bowling ball' trims! How about this for a suggested improvement! Regards, Matthew T.

That makes those trims almost identical to those that appeared on one of the other XM development models.
I rather like that improvement to the looks of the production ones.
