The electronic dampers on the 605 are interesting... Or simply variable dampers. They continued on the 607 too but with wires as theres a sport button in the 607s and not for the auto box either..

There is no electrical connection, just a length of hose attached to the strut head and a shrader valve. Thre was no apparant pressure when measured with a tyre pressure guage.

The 605 electronic dampers were fitted to V6 and V6-24V models only.

It was good to see a few of the clan on Sunday for a nice event, including fine weather and apparently around 80 cars at the peak! There was a good showing of XMs including several I had not seen before and our two S1 V6 did attract a little interest hopefully! One of the highlights for me was seeing a Pug 605 in the flesh courtesy of Kev and a very clean example as well. I attach a few of my photos including shots en route. With regards, Matthew T.

Great pics Matthew. Sorry i didn't get to meet up and see the Poland XM. Its looking great.
Kev's Pug 605 is a lovely example. And it must be so rare being a series one version.
