Hope all have a fabulous time. Sorry that I can't make an appearance - one of my dogs cannot be left alone (without him destroying something and/or hurting himself) if there's fireworks going on. And there have been every night now, for the last week... (sigh)

We are all really enjoying the weekend despite the weather being a bit grey, more than compensated for by the warmth of hospitality from Ray and his family. There is a good attendance of XM and other Citroën friends. We are now about to arrive in Blackpool and here are some photos from earlier today. Regards, Matthew T.

I think it’s fair to say that my Citroen CXM was a great success!

I would say more than successful Ray, it has been brilliant and we are not finished yet!! Hopefully we will see a few more of the clan during today and the weather is also glorious! With regards, Matthew T.

I would just like to say a great big thank you to everyone for a fantastic weekend! I’m still a bit shell shocked that our very own Ciaran came all the way just to shake my hand and give me a ride in his wonderful C6, Ciaran it was an absolute pleasure to meet, you are a true gentleman. also thanks to Renault760 who drive down from Durham and slept in his van overnight! Matthew it was a pleasure hosting you and thank you for trying to take as many bits as you could, I am sorry to say you hardly made a dent in my collection and now I’m left wondering what to do with everything that’s left, I tried my hardest I’m sure you’ll agree!

I am most certainly NOT having a dig at those that didn’t come, I understand people have other commitments and the distance etc is an issue. I do not have the independence to package and send bits through the post. I can’t even put my own socks on 😆😆😆 there was no hard selling, however I am completely gobsmacked at the generosity of kind people and my honesty box, it was NEVER about making money, although I will say I think I broke even with the considerable expense I forked out for this weekend and for that I am extremely grateful.

Fingers crossed I get to see you at some of the shows next year. Once again, thank you.

It was a fantastic weekend and many, many thanks again Ray for organizing the event, for the exceptional hospitality and of course the spare parts, which will certainly come in useful. I really enjoyed meeting faces old and new including Ray's family and local friends and the trip to Blackpool was very special. There was even a workshop demonstration by Paul (Citroen XM) showing his prowess at strut top replacement! I was so sorry to miss the Southport visit, but unfortunately had a 250 mile trip back to Norfolk! The Scotland 24v preformed faultlessly over the weekend and I clocked up nearly 600 miles overall. Here are a few of my photos now. With regards, Matthew T.
