Send the kids on a lap of the course. Once they've done a few fences, they should be pretty quiet for the rest of the day.

Get them to wear numbered waistcoats...and learn Tic-Tac.

It was a good weekend with the best weather I have ever experienced for the Rally and an impressive turn out on the Sunday. There were very disappointingly few XMs present and I only spotted a silver S2 saloon and a white estate on the Saturday and Ray's old S1 diesel plus a red S2 saloon on Sunday plus my car of course. I provided some brief entertainment (I hope) with my sphere gas recharge kit on the Saturday but otherwise just the usual chatting and it was good to meet old friends and make other new acquaintances as ever. It was possible to pick up a couple of bargains from Dave Debrubecker, who some of you may know, which included a brand new rear window glass and two early non-glass indicator/fog-light units.
