It certainly was an absolutely amazing event and I am guessing that you took a GS or GSA? With regards, Matthew T.

The GS and SM colours were stunning and the C6 were sadly rather drab by comparison! I think it most unlikely we will ever see so many XM in one place again! With regards, Matthew T.

That's because people used to buy cars with their own money, so purchased what they wanted, instead of borrowing finance from car manufacturers, who then sell/rent what is best for them.
Since the advent of car leasing for indiviuals, most cars rented are already built items. The manufacturers offer these cars at discounted rates and build them in every shade of grey and black, as it suits them.
If you want a specific, more individual, colour, you have to pay a lot more as it isn't a stock item, thus people naturally go for the cheaper option.

Not sure I necessarily agree. SM, yes but GS/GSA has some horrible colours - a poo brown is an example.
C6 looks best in black, no question. (I might be a bit biased as I used to own one) The shape of the car doesn't work all that well with other colours, to be honest.

I love my brown gs.
I think it is a great colour that really suits the car.

I also love the GS in brown that is just so 1970s and I think the C6 looks much nicer in lighter colours!! Regards, Matthew T.
