Good point Russ but a few more countries are RHD than you might initially think. Almost all of the old British Empire still is and I believe, Japan amongst others...
But you're right, compared to LHD it's not that big.
Wonder when the UK will switch to LHD?

Parts of Africa and Indonesia way are too. You do wonder when we will be forced tom change. Didn't Norway or Sweden change in the 50s or 60s. I'm sure they had to change overnight, meaning all the road markings were wrong...not to mention the cars too.
All it will take is the German giants to put their foots down and stop making RHD, and then we will see. Can't really see it happening however.

Re: Silver Exclusive in Australia
I've seen secret plans to convert the UK to LHD Russ...
They are intending to do it in stages to ease the transition...
Lorries will change over first and the following week it'll be buses, then the following week vans and then finally in the fourth week, cars... Bikes can use whichever side takes their fancy...
Yes, I believe the Scandinavian countries changed in 1967 I think it was. All in one day but then in those days there were comparatively few vehicles and things were generally simpler...
Can't see it happening ever in the UK as so much of the road infrastructure is wrong for LHD and the traffic density would make it nearly impossible to do with any degree of safety... A typical example is a dual carriageway on the A303 which has been built in such a way as the hill on the up side is a lot less steep than it is on the down side. Change to LHD and it would be the other way around...
Speed cameras wouldn't work either... Bet they'd make that first priority and leave the signs as a very low one...

Re: Silver Exclusive in Australia
Really ....secret plans to convert us all to LHD... Matthew would be okay then!
Imagine the cost. Something WOULD GO WRONG...Not to mention, I can see the EU sticking their noses in and making everyone buy a new LHD car, to help the car industry and increase scrap metal by scrapping all RHD cars. Why am I saying this...will give someone wrong ideas!
RHD is too ingrained now to worry about it. Fortunately.
