Laguna 2s are very nice! I was mightily impressed by how nice they were to drive when I drove one a few months ago.

Still prefer the 407 though... ;)

Laguna II...nice looking car, good interiors if high spec. But aren't the electrics terrible, they seem to have a bad reputation for going wrong often. I remember my parents taking a 1.9DCI out on test in '03 and it was rubbish to put it politely. (was low spec however) They much preferred the 2L turbo! The HDI is much nicer engine by comparison.

I love french cars for their quirky character, and Renaults do it well, but I just couldn't own one knowing what I read about what a Renault dealer said about the cars...every model has some sort of serious ticking time bomb.


Paul I hope you do get to the bottom of the Xantia's problem. At least you know what your looking for if you do pursue a Laguna.
