Unexpected blue Estate

Collected a part for the BX this morning from Citroen here. Really surprised to find an immaculate-looking deep blue S2 Estate in the workshop!

On French plates, and with a jobsheet on the windscreen "vibration between 1000 and 1200 rpm", and a few electrics not working.
Outside may have been decent, but inside a slightly different story: beige leather, but black door cards, and a big hole where the central armrest should be. A nasty strip of power sockets mounted on the dash-side, in passenger footwell.
Auto, but completely de-badged and bonnet shut, so know no more.

Really basic Xm in France were available without centre armrest, or any other creature comforts, such as remote locking, electric mirrors, rev counter, etc.
Hydractive is another option a number of continental cars made do without.
