2 XM's spotted within 15 mins!

I was at the scrapyard at Pease Pottage near Crawley in West Sussex and saw this blue Exclusive in the scrapyard car park (photos below) Maybe he knows something I don't 'cos I couldn't find an XM anywhere there. Got told that there was one in the far corner by the yard staff but turned out to be a Xantia! Later on driving along the road between Horley & Redhill saw a silver saloon going the other way didn't have time to take a photo but the reg was W887 TBH (I think!)

Strange I haven't seen a single XM since I owned mine since September but saw 2 in the space of 15 minutes & both W regs! Do they belong to anyone here?

No, has to be 3 XM's to be a convention!

Is the Exclusive pictured a 3.0 V6? I'm only going on the exhaust pipe. I had a quick peek inside (being mindful of being mistaken for a headlamp washer stealer!) and its an auto with black leather & glossy wood trim, not the faded wood on my VSX.

I'm sure I saw that blue one a few cars in front of me on the A23 in Redhill on the way home from work last night. It was heading south into the town from Merstham. It could well have done what I did and been up the M23 and turned round at the top to drop back into Redhill.

If you hang around between Pease Pottage/Redhill much I'm surprised you don't spot me about - green M reg 2.5 estate. I do Redhill to Horsham and back daily - usually on the motorway.

I also saw a red estate parked in Carlton Road in Redhill a few times over one of the bank holiday weekends recently. Haven't seen it since. I presume it was visiting.

My in-laws are just up the road in Carlton Green. You may well see me going up or down the road on occasion, either in my XM or the wifes Rover 75 saloon which doesn't stand out quite as much as the XM. We live near east surrey college so are often traveling up and down Carlton road between the 2.

You'll likely see the car again since I'm visiting quite a lot. The XM's banned from the in law's driveway ever since it leaked LHM fluid over the drive
