As I was driving through the pretty little hamlet of Bessels Green near Sevenoaks yesterday, parked outside one of the cottages was a six wheeled silver CX Safari, looked brilliant from the road.

Yep that looks like it. I saw a video of it towing the body of a light plane and it went round Otford pond which isn't far from where I saw it.

The CX was the most radical change in motoring I have ever experienced. They used to say that if you drove one for less than half an hour you would never drive one again, more than half an hour and you would never want to drive anything else, I fit into the latter category. I covered over 150,000 miles in my last one, the XM was in some ways a poor substitute.

The silver CX was at Little Horword Last year, the "plane" is a caravan conversion!

The Silver one with the airplane on the back belongs to Phil Collins the CCC's South East groups contact.

That would account for its location then.

The one with the three doors looks as though it belongs on a railway line.

I came across this Tissier CX last summer in France, quite a sight!
