Green XM VSX Turbo Diesel Estate - P860 BSB '97

Post by victors wife » Thu Aug 22, 2013 1:55 pm

I haven't spotted it but has anyone else?

It belonged to my husband and myself for a couple of years.

I inherited it from my Uncle in 1999 and he had inherited if from his cousin.

I have the original bill of sale for it (£21,545.49) dated 19th June 1997 from Citroen Garage, Finnieston Street, Glasgow

Wished we hadn't sold it and would love to know if it is still around.

Kind regards
Jane

You're in luck! According to the DVLA it is still Taxed and therefore still out there somewhere. :D

Nothing comes up searching the reg number on the forum, however someone is still using it...

According to DVLA it is a 2.5TD...

Yes, on the original bill of sale it states it is a "XM 2.5 TD VSX Estate".
We had to trade it in because the costs of keeping it on the road were getting too expensive for us. We traded it in at Johnsons Garage in Otley and we understand that someone from the Cornwall area came up to Yorkshire to collect it. That's all we know. I think the person who bought it was going to use it for parts but because it was in good condition he must have decided to keep it!
I am glad it is still out and about and someone is enjoying it. Loved that car.
I noticed on the forum that someone kept seeing it in Otley and Leeds, West Yorkshire. Yay! That was us!
Kind regards
Jane

Ha! I got in touch with the owner of the car! Lovely guy, said the car failed it's MOT and his daughter accidently bashed the door, so it was going for parts on Ebay.

Thanks to everyone for their help.. At least I know not to look out for it anymore as it has gone to the big XM heaven in the sky
