Green S2 R4** HKV - A75, Scotland

Post by Ciaran » Fri Sep 04, 2009 7:56 am

Hi guys,

Does anyone here own, or know who might own, a green S2 hatch, reg starting R4*** HKV or RKV?

I passed it on the A75 in Scotland on Monday night, in heavy rain, so only got a brief glimpse and only realised it was an XM when I looked in the mirror and saw the rear lights.

Anyone we know? :)

Hi Ciarán,

That would most likely be me in R544HKV wading my way home from Kirkcudbright to West Cumbria via Carlisle. Sorry I didn't wave!, but the 'barbecue' summer weather we were driving through really was atrocious. Presumably you were headed for Stranraer.

Cheers

Ken

Hi Ken,

That sounds quite like it actually, 544. I did write a partial plate down in the car, 5 and 4 sound very familiar, will check it later.

Would have been about 5pmish, in that lovely barbeque weather, as you said.
I passed (indeed heading to Stranraer), in a grey S1, both sides of the road were in long queues, but moving well enough. Such was the rain that I barely recognised it as an XM until I was past and saw the back of it in the mirror, so wouldn't have had a chance to wave anyway :(

Its got to have been you, how many other green R reg S2s would have been on that road at the same time! :)

Small world...

Ciarán
