Have been in Brittany for the last week and only seen 2 XMs in all that time... :(
Xantia still seems quite common
The house next door has a BX but that is the only one of those I have seen...
I thought that I might have seen a few more, perhaps I will tomorrow :D

There were quite a few when we last went but that was a few years ago, what I did notice though was a distinct lack of estates.

Here in Burgundy I see one or two a week, mostly in very nice condition. Series 1 are more common than series 2.

Estates in general don't seem to sell in France. When a group of us took BX's down to the French BX Club's 30th anniversary rally they were very glad that 3 of us took estates as they couldn't find any themselves! Not sure about XM Estate production, but I was surprised to find out that there were only about 180,000 BX Estates built compared to almost 2 million hatchbacks!

When looking for an XM I was tempted by a '91 estate on Leboncoin for 300 Euros, but I was put off by the stated diesel pump issue, and the fact it was a 2.1 non turbo.

I remember that mad dash Mike. Stevenage to Aulnay and back in a day. Sadly, the factory at Aulnay sous Bois, is now being demolished. :(

Is it? Oh no! End of an era. I thought they had simply moth balled it. That is a big factory to demolish.
