XM passing through Crediton today

Post by red_dwarfers » Thu Sep 24, 2009 5:02 pm

I spotted the above at around 5pm, I think it was a dark green maybe dark blue, definitely on a N plate. I was in a white Xantia overtaking a rather slow motorcyclist, I did wave but I think I was a bit late

Hi Kev.

it wasn't me today but I did keep an eye out for you in your White Xant when I was driving the W plated silver 2.1TD Xm
when I was down in Gunnislake and Tiverton on Saturday then through the middle of Dartmoor with an Activa in tow
followed by Sunday's run to Newton Abbot and Torquay in the silver Xm this time to help fetch back a mate's v6 Xantia.
Would love to have stopped and had a natter had I seen you!!

Some other time maybe as I met a very nice chap with an Sm, Ds and C6 who is a regular CCC South West participant!
He's promised me a drive of his Sm as I ran out of time this weekend.

As a coincidence I own one of his previous Cx's - a rare s1 t1 GTi Turbo! Small world this Citroening caper!

Andrew

You should have let me known Andrew!
I know that Salters have got a small collection of older Citroens and are the CCC Southwest organisers, would it have been them?

So it wasn't you then Peter?!
Again, Peter if you're ever over this way let us know :)

You have to do a detour along the A35 for about 15 miles to find us. :D Never been to the Honiton Hill Rally, keep meaning to ..... Did you used to go to the Yeovil Festival of transport?

Seen this black VSX several times in the last week coming through Crediton and on the Exeter road. Followed it back from Exeter the other day, what a treat that was :D
