Claimed to be the oldest running XM in the world! (where have I heard that before???) Would benefit from description and photos.

But this one is only the oldest in Europe...

Also, In our town (but we are currently not there), never seen this one on the road.

And the most optimistic ad that I have seen for a while... hard to tell what it is, a 1999 Mk1???

If you're claiming the oldest in existence then just put the RP number on the ad - saves all the arguments.

Third one is interesting.

All the cars are potentially interesting and appealing to me, being early V6 and lhd! The 24v in platinum looks particularly nice but a bit pricey at 3,000 euros. Just out of curiosity I have been in touch with the owner of the older car and the chassis number apparently ends 0572, whereas my Poland 12v is 0999! The two other XM I found before in France and Germany were produced only a few weeks before mine, whereas this one is April 1989! Regards, Matthew T.

MTXM, Keep an eye out for a spare PRV 24v. If I ever find one then Ill rebuild this platinum 24v I have here, untill then it will donate to make my working 24v a decent car...

Mathew, you might have missed the other "old" one that I later added to the original post. I suppose that even if 99.5% of the early cars have been scrapped, there will still be a few cropping up from time to time.

A bit like my 1975 XJ-S, they only made about 200 in that model year (which were more or less hand built prototypes) but every couple of years another one seems to re-emerge (I reckon about 10 remain).
