A windy Welsh spot

I'm in Wales this week for a break. Stopped in the rather dull town of Borth. Had a quick walk up the beach and got totally windswept. Out the corner of my eye I saw the roof line of this.....

French, petrol injection I believe. No sunroof, no spoiler, but it is meant to have one as it has little grommets covering the holes! Quite tatty condition too.

They crop up when you least expect them too! :D

Looking a tad distressed, especially at the front. Obviously made it from France...
Make an offer for the roof!

I believe it's made its way from the Lot et Garonne.
I'm hoping the slightly raised bonnet isn't a strut top failing... :?

Can you find out more?

It's far enough south to be rust free. It would be interesting to get the age and VIN.

I'm afraid I can't Will, i was only able to snap it quickly. By the looks of it, I wouldn't be too sure if it is that rust free.
Almost looks like it's being used for storage. There is a mattress in side it!

I think it's quite an early one, it had a single spoke.

I wouldn't be so indiscreet as to wonder whether you could peep under that bonnet.
No, silly idea.

I'm not staying in Borth, it's an hour away from our holiday rental.

If I had noticed the bonnet I would have had a quick peak.
I was trying to be quick, so didn't spend any time with it.
