Driving home this afternoon I came up behind a very tidy Pug 309 GTI Goodwood
I pulled up alongside at the lights and complimented the car to the driver by saying, "That's a rare beast", who said "I was just about to say the same about yours."

I had to look that one up. Never heard of it.
Wikipedia's Peugeot 309 page (last paragraph) says less than 400 were made, UK only, and slow to sell.
Another well-kept PSA secret.

Seen a good few.. made in 3 dr too i think iirc .. i had also seen one once many years ago in a scrap yard again in this green that had been rolled...

Only two colours offered the green and a miami blue (or was it china blue) ..

The other special also in 205s and many others is the Roland Garros (driver or golfer im not sure) but useually cream leathered interiors..

Like this you mean Paul, spotted on our trip to France! It was obviously someone's pride and joy and had a 205 owners club sticker in the back!! Regards, Matthew T. PS. Roland Garris is apparently another name for the French Open tennis competition and comes from the stadium name in Paris!

Roland Garros was quite a regular Peugeot special edition. 206 had one too.
The 205 Gentry is a good looking thing. a kind of posh GTI.

All Goodwoods were in green, which is a different green to Roland Garros.
