Hello from Estonia

Post by Ronny25 » Wed Feb 26, 2025 7:29 pm

Hello. I have been an XM owner for a few months. In autumn, the necessary parts of the undercarriage were replaced and the technical inspection was passed after five years of standing. Stood in the winter, don't want to use it in salt. Now it's spring and it's time to quietly start tinkering with the car. If I find time, there will also be a topic about the car.
The car itself is a 91-year-old 2.1 TD Non-Hydractive XM
Sorry, my English is bad.

Your English is fine, as is your Xm, which green is that, it looks like Triton, not quite sparkly enough for Emerald. The paint code will reveal all.

We don't have many Non-hydractive Xm on here.

What wheel-trims are those, Volvo?

Unfortunately, the color code has not been preserved, but it should be Triton green. Yes, the wheels are Volvo v50. There are also original beauty shields, but type 2 ones.

For future reference, it's best to re-stencil the paint code again, behind the left headlamp.
We would call the beauty covers "mudflaps". I could see they were Series 2 type.
