I agree Jim - a very warm sculptural colour that just gives it a tiny bit of desirable bling. The eagle eyed will also spot the wheels look very similar to a later XM design!

Considering your SM against my XM in the same(?) colour IMO the XM looks all glass and the SM looks all body.

I think that's a good observation Eddie. The SM really has a very small cabin compared to the XM (actually compared to the size of car) and a very long bonnet. You sit low so the area of glass appears decent (all round vision is ok except at the extremities where you are essentially blind).
