I introduce myself

Good morning everyone.

My name is Jesús, and I write from El Escorial, in the heart of the Sierra Madrileña, Spain. From a very young age I have had a passion for Citroën, because when I was born my father had a brand new Citroën GS Palas in a metallic green color just bought, and of course, that marks one forever. That was the car in which I lived my childhood and part of adolescence, (what memories!). Then we had in the family home a Citroën ZX 1.4 petrol, one of the first to come out, a Citroën C5 2.0 HDi also of the first generation, which continues to roll in top form, and a Citroën C4 1.6i that is also with us.

Now I am once again a proud owner of a hydropneumatic as I have a Citroën XM 2.1 TD with which I am very happy. It is a special version and very well equipped, I will present it in the corresponding section. It will share a garage with a Volvo XC90 D4 and a Nissan Almera 2.2 Di, but those are other stories.

Oh, and I have another "gadget" coming out soon too.

I hope I can contribute my bit as well.

Greetings to everybody and thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
That's a good few Citroens! Look forward to more about the XM.

A nice list of cars, there.
The GS Pallas is the real star, shame you don't still have it.

The Xm is going to shame all the newer cars for comfort and ride quality.

Welcome from afar, I also had a ZX. I've passed it on to my mechanic buddy who is lightly modifying it to a semi rally style. We shall soon be taking it on a 6 day tour of Northern Thailand as my XM is laid up awaiting the return of her strut tops. You will enjoy your new car, I think the CT is a fine spec. to drive.
