If the keypad red light doesn't blink when pressing buttons, there is no power to the keypad.
Check power and Gnd are there and check the connector onto the keypad isn't corroded.

The keypad and alarm are seperate devices, so I suspect you have a common issue, such as no power.

The Texton alarms are known to be problematic, probably best off removing it. The control box lives behind the centre console/radio.

Between the blower motor House and main heater box. I've unplugged the Texton box on our M reg and the RF locking still works. Just operates like a mk. 1 xm now. No flashing Headlights after battery removal.
