As a fiarly new member to this forum, i'd like to introduce myself.

Yes i'm the one who bought Phils lovely Xm exclusive that he saved, as this is my 1st Xm, i must say what a cracking car it is, and drive beautifully, came back from Phil's on monday back to my home town of Eastbourne (Sussex) , and what am effortless drive it was, and returned good mpg too, :) :) .

There are as Phil says on other topics, a few things to do, but not a lot at all, really pleased with the car overall, as others will know from FCF topics, i was looking for an auto Xm, because the misses only has auto licience, but puttingh that aside, ent for a manual, she an't driving this one :D :D , she not sure about it, and it's to big for her   , not taste, so she'l stick with her Megane for now. that way there's no trips to Tesco's battlefield car park !! ;)

Have taken some pics yesterday of it up on Beachy Head, but as with other forums , iv'e not got the hang of posting pics yet !  , so as soon as i can will'l add them.

Thanks Phil , once agian , lovely car ....

Hi Nigel

Welcome to the club. Nice to see people are still buying them, there are not many left now especially of my variety, brilliant car though, without equal in the modern market. Enjoy

Hi Nigel 8-)

Glad you like. I just found how easy it is to miss something: my current XM has it's rear o/s door trim unattached at the top. It takes a while to discover things, and I BET my XM's done more than 120k. The shiny steering wheel, worn pedal rubbers and significantly worn alcantara and leather suggest more use... (Still love it though!).

Just part of the overhaul. I took the headlamps out to change the silver reflectors and then took the bumper iron off to paint it, and then the o/s wing to press out a small dent and treat and paint the wing outriggers.

I didn't use the quick removal method so perfected by jorgy..
