Unless you come to the UK frequently, why would you want a RHD XM.. IF i was living in France id far rather the LHD to get DIVARI steering...

Welcome to the Club and you made a good choice with series one V6, which are really lovely cars! I am very fortunate to own two 1990 sei models, one auto and one manual. The manual engine and gearbox are out a present due to a head gasket repair being required and I am about to update my earlier thread. We saw and admired your car at the Citroen Car Club National Rally near Peterborough in July. Do let us know how you get on! Regards, Matthew T.

Have you seen the price of LHD Xms Paul? I'd have a RHD one if I lived in France. Much cheaper to buy.

Hi All

For certain one good reason for buying in the UK was based on cost, even with the requirement to register in France it is still cost effective, for me no problems driving a RHD vechicle here (the roads are really relatively empty) and i do believe that us Brits do generally look after our cars better (i think we are more passionate about them)

Hi and welcome to the forum Brian - good to see you on here. :D

Glad to hear that you are enjoying her - that was a nice car.

Matthew is quite correct, and here it is in the line-up:

Hope you don't mind, but here's a picture of when I owned it for people that don't remember it:
