I'm back and with an XM!!!

Post by CitroJim » Sun Aug 26, 2012 3:48 pm

A sort of re-introduction although I'm sure many of you know me well enough

Anyway, I'm back with an XM :D Collected a '94 S1 2.0TCT Prestige today. I guess a few of you know this car...

A black one bearing the registration L92 KBL

Driven it from Doncaster back home today and already filled it with LPG twice...

It's good.

The S2 V6 I had for a while from David Hallworth is now back on the road after 11 months of hard work by her owner and me combined. One drive of the V6 was enough to comvince me I wanted one again...

So here I am. This one's a keeper...

Well, shiver me timbers, Jim's back. :)

At least you got a S1 this time...Is this Chris's car?

You are correct about the driving of an XM being addictive, I love rocking about in mine, even though I have other machinery to drive in.

Hi Will :D

Yes, it's Chris's... We did a deal...

Here she is parked up outside my place with a visitor in the form of Chris, the owner of my and David's old S2 V6..

It's a LOT different to a Xantia...

XM are much nicer than Xantia, the seats and pedal layout in particular.

I note you are standing in front of "that" wing...

Well done Jim, nice car, and just in time for cxm.

Bit crafty of you swapping a V6 xant and the xant files for an xm ;)

Well Done Jim,

I knew you would come back again. It was just a case of guessing how long you could live with the withdrawal.

It was driving the newly roadworthy S2 V6 that finally did it Robert. That car is sublime. I'm delighed it's been saved. You should push Chris570 hard for the story of getting that car sorted. It's a good 'un...
