Welcome and that is a very nice looking XM! You don't see too many black S2s.

That 24v S1 does have series one mirrors, coloured as its a 24v.

Excellent choice of car. :D Welcome to the 2.1 auto club. It's not as quick as Matthews V624v, but they do cruise nicely. I have a mk1.5 SED.

Names...don't laugh, my Sister has called mine Edith. :? Bad enough? :lol:

Welcome to the mad house!

No thats standard Series One 24v XM, they were ALL colour coded from the off in 1991, thats what distuinguised the 24v V6 Manual models to lesser models, UNTILL 1992/3, where SE spec was then colour coded. The coding was mirrors and the scuttle pan.

S2 mirrors will fit an S1 but they dont quite match up against the other plastic work.
