We are now living back in the UK after 10 years in France (Normandy) and will settle in the Banbury area, I will update my profile in due course
I am just in the process of changing lights etc in readyness for an MOT and then to re-register in the UK

Welcome back to the UK Brian and hope to see you and your car at the CCC X Rally in April! Fortunately it is only necessary to swap the headlamp lenses which is a fairly quite an easy task and if you have fitted a km speedo that is also no problem for the MOT. Are you going to reclaim the original registration number? With regards, Matthew T.

Welcome back Brian. I remember your XM when it was for sale, listed on carandclassic by Franklin. Absolutely wonderful...and rare now. V6 Si I believe. Love to see it at a future rally.

Best of luck with the MOT.

That's excellent news Brian and as mentioned above it would be great to meet you and see the XM again at some events this year. :D :D

Banbury is not that far really for the CCC X Rally at Burghley House, Stamford which is in April. viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4287

Also there is the CCC National Rally held in July at Wicksteed Park so only 50ish miles. Just realise there's not a thread for that so ill get one organised...
