Super new guy here!

Post by ItsGrimUpNorth » Mon Aug 03, 2009 9:53 am

Hey guys - how are you? I'm Viktor from Sweden.

I just got my license and for my first car, I chose the Citroën XM. I've been a Citroën nut since I was a little kid so the choice was obvious. My car is a wine red XM T.C.T. '93. To my dismay it didn't have the single-spoke steering wheel but I don't really care as long as it doesn't have the 1994 and onward interior, which I find extremely un-Citroën.

Everything in the car works which makes me happy.

I'm hoping to share my future XM endeavours with you guys - have a fantastic day!

Hi Viktor

Welcome to the club. Nice to know that all XM enthusiasts are not old like me :D I personally think that they are the best car in the world - for me anyway. Enjoy.

Hi And welcome!

you'll find that citroen changed from single to twin spoke around 1992 to early 1993 it also indicated a change to improoved earthings under the bonnet and a few little changes... in my opinion, known as a Series 1 and a half, the BEST combination, you get the "Original" dash, and the later slightly more reliable earthing points, and so far prooved to me, the more reliable "Electrovalves" on the suspension system... more of you'll probably find in other areas in the fourm.

GOOD choice of car, second to the 2.1 td and V6's

Paul
