Hi;
I am Alper. I have a black 1996 XM Turbo CT VSX auto with 253000 km on the clock. I also have an grey 2000 Xantia Activa HDi with 200000km on the clock. I was a big fan of Xantia until I drove a XM.
I hope you accept members from outside the UK.

Welcome Alper

We most certainly welcome XM drivers from anywhere in the world... It is good to see yu on here. I also saw you on the French Car Forum
I have a long history of Xantias and I still love them and I also love my XM
You are very lucky to have an Activa HDi. We only got the 2.0 CT in the UK although a number of V6 conversions have been carried out...

Hi, you'll find some very knowledgeable people here, can be handy as I never saw an XM in Turkey but I did see a Xantia in very very bad condition

Shame on me, I just totally dismantled a black XM CT VXS ... and my Xantia is scrapped now too

But they accepted me on the forum too and I still drive 2 blue XM's.

I'm always surprised they accepted me Jaap and even more surprised I've not been banned!
Alper, both this and the French Car Forum are very friendly places indeed

How long have you been in Turkey? We have 30 or 40 Xm in Turkey. Where was that Xantia you saw? Maybe I know it's owner.
I am the Owner/Admin of the biggest Turkish Citroen forum. I am the only active Xm member there. Also we have just one Xantia Activa in Turkey. I was feeling lonely.

Friendly places can become rare these days:) Not here. I'm afraid I don't remember where I saw that Xantia in Turkey, I was there a long time ago (in a 2cv, don't laugh and in the year 2000) and only saw one Xantia without any working suspension. But we did love Turkey! And our little car (believe it or not) was kissed by a young boy on a ferry in Cannukkalle and we were offered free tea everywhere we bought petrol and it was washed for free as well.. Good memories!
@Jim, one of the most knowledgeable XM drivers: without you this forum would be dead Jim! (what my computer tells me would 'Be dead Jim' when it crasches...) Happy days ( in haste in between folks)

As a fellow forum admin (on the French Car Forum) I am very pleased to see you have found our forums a good place to be Alper
I really wish I could read Turkish and visit yours...
Jaap, you are too kind but I think there are many more on here much more knowledgeable on the XM than me. I'm still a newbie in the XM world!
