Hi to all...

...old list friends, mailing lists and otherwise. I don't particularly fancy web forums these days but now I decided to give it a try from my tablet. Liking the experience so far...

My old BX is probably known to many of you, also having been the driving force to start my website many years ago. But it's not seeing any action now, actually having been stored for quite a few years now. The current ride is the XM, 2.5 turbo of the VSX kind, with some Exclusive toys added as well.

Hi Gabor

Welcome to the forum, good to know there are some people out there that are still running XMs. I still have one but its on SORN at the moment and its future is debatable. Long time since I had a BX but I think they were brilliant for their time, especially the TDs.

And I don't intend to let it go any time soon... There is hardly anything to replace an XM with (I don't particularly like the looks of the C6, neither outside nor inside, although I do appreciate the riding quality). I couldn't care less for age and trends, so as long as it keeps going strong, even if it costs, it will stay for sure...

C5 was the logical replacement for me, relatively easy to work on, cheap spares and cheap cars, if anything much goes wrong you can throw it away and buy another.

Considering that you have much healthier used car prices (from a buyer's perspective, that is). What a pity we can't really make use of it because of the RHD... :-)
