Rusted xm subframe

Last mot stated subframe was corroded but not structurally weakened. Can the subframe be welded? Some garages say yes, others no!

Its a bit of a grey area, I beleve IF IM still correct it can be welded IF an MOT tester has not seen its weak condition before hand, but once spotted and seen to be weak by a tester it cant be.

Theres a front and rear subframe for same on here now!!

Might be worth getting if you have had advisories on yours!

It won't need welding if you sort it quickly, mot testers have been issuing advisories for rust marks rather than rust holes, have a look underneath and check to see exactly what the issue is.
