Fastest, best handling and most complicated car i ever had.... my first with rear hidro suspension... ;) Tehnical Wonder even by todays standards....(variable turbo, water to air intercooler, factory instalation for blow off valve, 4x4, toresn diff, xantia rear suspension for better stabilty and handling, luxury equipment.... and best engine ever XU10J4TE (PSA use it for wrc in 205,405,306,206, xsara - more then 20 years)

Pain for parts, if thay are made only for T16, than it is usual cheeper and easyer to made it by yourself.... some parts are hard to finde...

I made hibrid garett VAT 25/28 turbo, with custom eprom that my french friend Charles made for that aplication... boost was 1,7 bar... hot air was an issue, so i made saparate water cooling sistem with separate pump, and cooler (factory one was with engine coolant)...

I do not like to make clames about HP, in that time i did not have accses to a dyno for a 4X4... so i do not Know how many HP car had... Best officiale 1/4 mile time was 14,1sec... and i never take anyrhing from a car so weght was standard...

This is one oficial video, and car was still in modification.... (racing was best way for testing)....

n1091646731_314869_1786.jpg
And my 206 s16 with Ew12 manifolds, injectors 306gti6 cams, new software...in total 175BHP (this was dyno tested), 2y before Peugeot made more or less same thing and make 206 RC

And today, im bit older, to many speeding tickets, and burned petrol.... but still i like nice car, that is special, and tehenical marbel... so i decided, i will buy this one:

I gues, it will not be so demanding as T16 ;) but talking from expiriance, you never know with french cars

...or a drive across the park, if the photo is anything to go by! Our S2 is white, too - and they do look good in white: "floating roof" and all that.

Welcome!!

Welcome Mario, very interesting car history you have. If you can do all that on the Peugeot, then I think you can cope with an XM!

Yours looks like a good example. I agree with Chris, they do look good in white.

Finaly im finished with mechanic. New 80tkm engine, new custom made hoses, new clutch, new belts, new engine mounts, new shaft gaiter (all), new wishbones, new stering links, breaks, all new balls, new lhm, cleend hidro sistem, lhm distributr filters, etc.... Everything that i so it can go bad in next 100 000km

EGR is hystory, turbo owerhuled, Bosch VE pump overhuled, injectors with new inserts, intercooler and radiator cleened and tested.

Planty of small things sorted, repaird and changed if needed.

Result is car that has no mechanical compromise. (for now) After +500km of testing im amased with new car that i have now. :)

And today i decided that it is the time to play with Bosch pump.... i started by small adjustng of fuel screw, then whan i reach maksimum of smoke that i can tolerate behind me, i did the same with LDA... i was trying and testing all day, and now im so ecited, taht i need to share with you guys.... Now my 2.1td that was very plesent to drive after all this repairs, now has power like 2.5td, may be even better. And this is very rugh modifications and testing, dyno in the future will show real results, and then on dyno i can make fine adjastments...

Only drawback is Black smoke.... but this is smoething that is hardly avoidable if you want kick from old 2.1td....

I made modification and install manual boost controler. This is shit that do not work as i expected. You can turn it all the way you want, but turbos accutator is controling the boost by preload spring and arm. So to get the boost up, i use the fuel with LDA setup.... I did not have the time to install aftermarket boost gauge, on dashboard one shows begining of the red mark in 4th gear... so if anyone has idea how much PSI or Bar is that i will be thankfull :)

Sorry on bad English, hope you can understand...;)
