Theres two sorts of v6. The prv to 1996 and the psa esj engine. The esj is far better on fuel then the prv but the prv is more audioable and has a better sound track.. the esj is somewhat smoother and quieter..

Considering badbob hasn't been on the forum since October I wonder if that's another one that's fallen by the wayside.

That is correct Neil and actually in my garage awaiting an engine and box removal! The model recommended by Paul is the later ESJ V624v and not the PRV V6 that is my interest!! With regards, Matthew T.

Strange that.. i do like a prv aswell.. with a 12v sei auto here and a 24v manual.. but those are enough for me at the moment and this time in my life...

Of course Paul I quite understand and two examples should be enough for me too but they just keep bobbing up!! With regards, Matthew T.

I try to spread a very small budget over several cars Paul that is not ideal and I do whatever work I can myself! I will certainly not be buying any more!! Regards, Matthew T.
