Hello good forum folks,
Some of you may know us from various citroen forums and even real life face to face meetings, Im Matt and im sure some of you also know my better half Charlotte who is a previous XM owner and has posted here in the past.
The pair of us have Citroen experience rangine grom 2CV/Ami/Dyane through visas. BX's, CX's, Xantia, H van etc etc We are taking custody of a 1989 G plate White 2.0i this evening and will undoubtedly be soon asking dumb and annoying questions here about it

Oh you know, the usual things, occasional ABS fail (although getting less frequent), occasional rear light warning message, occasional failure to operate the starter, and as posted elswehere it's running slightly warm. TBH, it makes a nice change to have a car where so much is actually working!

That may be the best forum post i've ever read as it very closely mirrors my own experience's with old Citroens

Welcome aboard the good ship XM Matt ( and Charlotte ). It's an interesting and occasionally frustrating journey.

Well done for taking on the car and it will be nice to meet you in the future and to see another early XM at future rallies! Regards, Matthew T.

Hello Matt and Charlotte (who we've never met, but do remember the posts of her car)
That white G plater is a cracker, I was tempted myself, but got "pressure".
