As long as they are NOT Amtek Spheres, that GSF supply, the issue is the Amtek ones are very hit n miss and can be just as dud as old ones, and others can be fine.

That's good to know Paul. Steer clear from Amtek. I was about to order some new spheres. So hearing that about AEP is very annoying. Still check them tomorrow just incase, but might have to settle for other makes. Grrr!

If you're in Cheltenham, there's the option of visiting Tony Weston and getting existing spheres regassed? Not so convenient if (like our newbie here) you're in that Scotlandcestershire...

I had thought of this Ian, funny you mention that... so it might have to be done. It would be going to Andrew anyway to have them done, so I might just give him a ring.

Once they've been re-gassed once surely it's easier to do in the future?

I started to order them when I bought a few other bits... I can't remember the price exactly but it was moving into eye watering territory so I had to ask him to stop. I'm completely resphered from Pleiades and very happy.
