Hi Chrispy

Welcome to the forum, electrical foibles are a way of life with an XM but at least you can repair them - unlike many modern vehicles.

hi guys,

im based in the midlands in a little town called bedworth,
the nickname is due to being a electrician the guys i go shooting with coined it and it has stuck for the last 12 years.
yeah the electrics in this car has highlighted to me why i like restoring my scimitar as it only has lights and radio that need wires

I personally find the electrics on XM to be simple and generally reliable.
The single biggest failure is due to water in the connectors. Ensure all weather exposed connectors have a dob of grease squeezed into them prior to re-assembly.
