Hello,
I'm Andy from Nottingham.
I've been silently following this forum for the last few months whilst on the lookout for my first XM. I've always had a thing for them eversince a family friend took me out in his mk1 3.0V6 exclusive back in the 90s. The ride was sublime!
Unfortunately I've been let down a few times recently by sellers who, for some reason have at the last minute decided not to sell or simply dropped all communication the day before I was due to purchase - very strange.
Anyway, I'm after a well cared for XM, doesn't have to be mint but a good working example that doesn't need too much. Ideally an exclusive, or something special (like Brad's Prestige)
Hopefully by signing up i'll be closer to obtaing the right car :)

I'm willing to pay over the odds price for the right car - cash is waiting and has been for some time.
A carpeted, heated garage awaits!

Andy

Hi Andy,

Welcome to you. Hope you have enjoyed reading around all this.
You're looking in the right place, as folk here often report cars seen for sale even if not from members here.

It does appear that some owners can't bear to part bear from their XMs, and have changes of mind at the last moment, but hopefully that won't get in your way again!

A carpeted garage!? Hopefully a green one, so as . . .

Hi Andy

Welcome to the forum.

I ran 2.1 XM estates for 15 years and a lot of miles, brilliant cars, my last one departed through rust so make sure you have a good look at the underneath.

Peter

Hi all.
Thanks for the warm welcome.
I'll keep a look out for the right one, if any of you chaps happen to know of any good examples for sale, I'd appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction :)
Andy

Hello Andy.
Not sure if You aware but there's one XM for sale in latest Citroenian Magazine. I think it's one of the most reliable source if You looking for well cared car. If You not member of CCC and haven't seen magazine let me know and I'll send You owner's contact details and some more info about that XM.
Regards
Prem
