First time Citroen owner joins the fold

Post by Rails » Mon Jul 17, 2017 10:49 am

Hi yesterday I swapped my Volvo 940 estate for the XM above. It's my first time owning a French car so stepping straight from the Volvo into the Citroen was a bit of a culture shock but I think I have gotten used to it somewhat now. I may have to ask some questions shortly so please be patient lol. The XM was formerly DS-Drivers of this parish.

I suspect the cargo may enjoy the space and ride somewhat more than the Volvo.

Probably! They must have been used to Volvo as I had it for six years but going from a live rear axle to Hydropneumatic suspension has got to be an upgrade for them :D

That 940 should have nivomats at rear as a factory set-up.
They guarantee self-leveling rear suspension and quality ride.

Warm welcome to you - and yes, quite a culture shock. You will quickly recover, though, and enjoy the comfort!
At least metallic green provides a bit of continuity.
Whereabouts are you based?

BTW, there are/were some good OE/Accessorie dog guards available for the XM. You might be able to find one still.
