Actual assembly date is November 6, 1990.
About those wheels, I am not sure how to balance them with no hole int he middle, there is no such equipment in the US, so I will have to come up with aftermarket set of some sort.

"Centreless" wheels were used almost solely by Citroen/Peugeot in Europe, so you probably will have a problem finding a tyre depot with the necessary centreless adaptor for balancing.

Good summary of the original/optional wheel types (and more) here, thanks to Russ...

If you want to keep those wheels, which are not correct for a series 1 car, you could have a machine shop turn some holes in the wheels to fit a balancing machine and fit the plastic blanking caps used on slightly earlier PSA wheels.

Interestingly, Mike, I had wondered about that last year for my own centreless Monte Carlo's here. Fortunately, my local Euromaster depot here not only has the adaptor, but has recently bought a brand new one, there are so many centreless Citroens still on the road here.

The RAV4 has just what you describe: alloy wheel, but centre-drilled, with a small marque logo'd push-in plastic cap.

When Citroen introduced centreless wheels they reduced the alloy thickness of the wheel centre and shortened the bolts used.
Drilling out is likely to present a fatigue strength risk even if the quality of the machining is adequate.

Not something we should be recommending on here without holding design proof for the structural change.

That was my principal hesitation for pursuing this. Thanks for confirming.

Thank you gentlemen for the warm welcome.
It is an early 24V with fancy steering rack system.
Right now it is ridden with old car illnesses and a lot of delayed maintenance but overall it is a healthy beast.

Here is the list of current issues:

- I cannot locate upper and lower radiator hoses, these seem to be no longer produced, any help?
- There absolutely no response of the running engine to a throttle position sensor. Revving up has a bit of delay also.
- car occasionally would not start, just cranks and no fire, but if I connect battery charger and give it extra boost she seems to fire. Battery and terminals are in good shape, not sure if this is related to alarm system (which is disabled to code 0000) or some other wiring issues.

- I am looking for some trim and whole lot of parts for routine maintenance, what is the best source?

Thanks you!
I have a collection of upper and lower hoses here in the UK. I assume your top hose has a T off to the oil cooler..?
Bottom hoses are the same as the 12v v6 of which I also have here..

Hi,

Both my hoses have t-splits, you are correct, any early V6 version would work.
Could also use a water pump, see image of what I have, thanks.
