'Prestone' has been strongly recommended to me in the past and can be mixed with all colours. Regards, Matthew T.

Must say again:
- colour means nothing; there are no agreed standards
- do not risk mixing coolant types; use just one type (brand and mix) for a complete fill and all topping up.

Yes, Prestone is good, but still don't mix it with other types, or unknown contents or residues.

It's hard work getting this message home. There are plenty of articles on the web about mishaps, including formation of sediments, residues, crystallisation and goo. I have first-hand experience of that last here, and it was a sod to clear out.

My matrix IS defo leaking, is it likely the pipes or matrix and can I get it out any easy way boys?
