Oups... I’ve come across a black 1996 2.5 Turbo D Break with cream leather power seats and sunroof. It has 246K km on... Should or should not?

Looks rather nice, Ferdinand.
John is the 2.5 Estate expert . . .
Unusual to see those early wheel trims on a S2/2.5 - it rather suits it.

Had planned to see it in the spring, but some chinese virus changed everything... Luckily it hasn’t been sold and the seller prefers that it stays here in DK, rather than selling it abroad... Fingers crossed 🤞

It looks very tidy...and the ivory leather is pretty rare.

😢😭 I hate pictures... They must have been taken on a very good day..

Roof and bonnet were missing clear coat on many spots. Sills had seen better days, cambelt was due for a change, A/C didn’t work. Seats looked no where near as good in real life as on pictures.

Engine sounded very good though and it didn’t smell bad.

A hydraulic pipe went though and it leaked somewhere between 0,5 - 1 liter of LHM on the floor, so no test drive.....
Lots of scratches and dents from parking.

So I believe it’s going to be a “no” from me.... (Bloody h_ll 🤬🤬🤬)

For a rust free Lhd, I would look in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal.

Not a fan of Britney Spears... But her song, Oups, I did it again decribes quite well how this sunday has been spent.

Picked up a one owner 1998 3.0 V6 24V Exclusive with only 137.000 km on the counter 🤩

Not without issues, but will take it to a MOT in the following week to see how it is.

It drives really well and it was be or the crusher as the previous owner died recently and no one in the family had any interest in the car.

Have all the receipts from its past 😱 more than 20K pounds spent on it since new 🤯🤯
