That will be the problem then, off to the shops tomorrow to find a replacement i think, the intact O ring is the size i have used for the time being to do one last pressure test and i can confirm it is 100% air tight @12 psi for 15 minutes, hopefully watertight too!

XM coolinng systems run at 1.4bar or 20psi in old money.

Dean.. i have a fair few top and bottom hoses.. were they yogs originals from the car?

No Lab here unfortunately but i spend most nights near the woodstove, made even better by not having a telly in this room either, just the fire, and sometimes a Brandy ;)
