Tomorrow morning its time to mate it up to the engine and finish the last bits off ready to swap the hydraulics from my car onto this engine.

And as of 30 minutes ago she was cranked on the starter motor for the first time in.....................some time.
Sounds healthy but my battery is flat unfortunately.

Bit of an oversight not charging the battery...or connecting an ECU and a fuel cannister...

I was thinking that Will but it would seem the battery is charged, i think its my 99p shop jump leads, they get very warm even after a quick crank like that.

Still need to finish making the loom anyway.

M.O.T time has come around again, I am sure they don't last as long as they used to!

Unwrapped her this morning, tipped 5 ltrs of fresh fuel in, connected the battery and she fired straight up, quick trip to the filling station and then on to the local Cit garage to drop it off.

Not seen it since it was wrapped up and put away in late October so that's not bad going, you forget how smooth they are to drive.
