Ive set the hydraulics to one side for a minute as i have other things to concentrate on like getting the engine in and getting it running first, i think i will need a complete set of V6 spec pipes to mate the pressure regulater to the FDV and possibly the FDV to the car, still dont understand why Citroen done that, its just pointless differences that i hope do not become the theme for this conversion!
Anyway, progress has been made today in a slightly forward direction, The engine is out.

There were M.O.T issues to sort but i was let off in light of the situation i was in thankfully, these were the issues, and yes this is the N/S rack gaiter!

This was a right sod of a job with the engine out but still much easier than doing it with the engine in the car, i also fitted a new PAS ram with a new rubber boot just because i had it on the shelf and i would rather it was done now than have to do it shortly after wedging the V in there, after the rack work was done and before the engine bay clean

Still a lot of de-greasing to do but at least i found all those long lost nuts and bolts from yers gone by.
Here is a good one, a shot of the 2.0i downpipe flange and OE 3.0 V6 downpipe flange, its a bit interesting

And look at the inside of this downpipe from the 2.0i engine, nearly 3000 miles of use on that and it is as clean as the day it was made, that engine is/was running so well
